Jim Cupero is a 1979 graduate of Villanova Law School. For more than 27 years he has practiced exclusively in the personal injury and medical malpractice fields. Jim began his career in New York City where he defended physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice actions. He came to Orange County in 1986 where he represented injured persons as well as defendants in personal injury and malpractice cases as Senior Trial Counsel to one of the county's largest law firms.

Over the past 15 years Jim has further limited his practice to representation of the injured only. In fact, the Law Office of James J. Cupero PLLC is one of the only law firms in Orange County which represent the injured only. Many others who advertise for personal injury cases in this county represent defendants and their insurers in injury cases as well. Limiting his practice as indicated, Jim never has to concern himself with conflicts of interest or the possibility of alienating one client to further another's interests. This is critical in maximizing each client's recovery.

Jim is a respected trial lawyer with a reputation for honest and direct dealings. Jim's credentials rival those of the most active metropolitan New York attorneys. A former member of the New York County Lawyer's Association, Jim is currently an active member of the American Bar Association, America Association for Justice, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, New York State Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York, The Second Circuit Court of Appeals and all New York State courts.
